New Zealand Trio
Our three New Zealand players, after recovery from jet lag have all made their First team debuts in the hard won RFU Intermediate Cup match at West Hartlepool. Ally Paine, 22, is from Wellington where he plays with the Poneke Rugby Football Club. Ally has recently obtained a Building Science degree and is a trainee Quantity Surveyor.
Tama Makamaka, 20, plays for the Oroua Club. Tama has represented New Zealand as a colt and was a member of the successful New Zealand side in the 2005 Under 19 World Cup in South Africa.
Nick Marshall, 22, is from Hawke Bay. Nick has most recently been playing Rugby League with Victoria University where he is currently a student.
