The Friends of LSH  (5th February 2011)
Jubilant LSH supporters having just witnessed last Saturday’s sensational comeback against Northwich could be forgiven for speedily making their way inside the clubhouse after the game. Seeking refuge from the constant torrent of rain they may have paid scant attention to the newly refurbished clubhouse walls and facia, a project funded by a quietly efficient group of loyal supporters called “The Friends of LSH”.

Formed over 20 years ago, the Friends specifically exist to help maintain the fabric and infrastructure of the club. Their regular monthly contributions have funded numerous tree plantings; repaired fencing; provided a new scoreboard and built new touchline dugouts. On this occasion the clubhouse work has been undertaken by long standing club member Ian Clough.
“Cloughie has done a great job” said Trevor Rouch, one of the Friends. “We are all pleased to see our modest offerings help the club in this way. Moss Lane is now a very busy place and we will try to help in any way we can.”
