No....it’s not an April Fool and LSH Director of Rugby Martin Jones can breathe a sigh of relief! The Sale Sharks Head Coach is not after his job.....but the Sale supremo was at Moss Lane to help out at the Easter Rugby Camp organised by the Club’s ambitious Mini and Junior Section (Minotaurs).
Aspull born back rower Anglesea thoroughly enjoyed his coaching session with the youngsters “I had a fantastic afternoon working with the kids and there’s no shortage of talent out there. It’s fantastic to see a club nurturing its players from Under 7s right the way through to Senior Rugby”.
Camp organiser Jayne Thompson was understandably delighted that Anglesea could attend “The children were thrilled when we told them that they would be coached by the Sale Sharks head coach. They all had a brilliant time and Pete was a real star and spent time with all the age groups, signing photographs and rugby balls”.
The 3 day rugby camp was attended by around 60 children a day and was supported by club coaches, RFU professional staff, O’Neill’s Sportswear who donated some rugby balls and T shirts, and the Clubs own Youth Committee Members who helped organise and run the event.
