Gene Robinson (Mataa Arlick Lutton)
Through Dan Collins we have heard from Gene who was one of our trio of New Zealanders who starred so effectively for LSH last season and did much to save our bacon. The others were, of course, Errol Weston and Maradona Farao.
We hear that Gene, who has played for the Cook Islands since 2004, looks as if he will be captaining the Cook Island team in the Oceania Cup in October. He is thus a worthy candidate to be added to a long list of Internationals who have played for the club.
Gene reckons he will come back to see his name on the Honours Board.
